Grace Park is a Canadian actress born in America. Her appearance as Sharon Valerii in “Battlestar Galactica” catapulted her to fame. Canadian television series “Edgemont” and “The Cleaner’ also contributed to her popularity. Currently, Grace Park will portray the role of detective Kona Kalakaua in the CBS remake of “Hawaii Five-O” which is set to hit the screens starting fall of 2010.
Grace Park and her family moved to Canada when she was almost two years of age. She grew up in the neighborhoold of Kerrisdale in Vancouver. Grace is a Psychology graduate from the University of British Columbia. She speaks English and understands some Korean language. Currently, she is learning to speak Spanish. Grace Park is currently married to Phil Kim and has lived in Vancouver since 2004.

American actress Christine Woods was born on September 3, 1979 in Orange County, California. She studied musical theatre in University of Arizona. Christine Woods has appeared in multiple television series with the most prominent being her role as FBI Agent Janis Hawk in ABC’s “FlashForward.”

Her role as Janis Hawk in “FlashForward” took an interesting turn when the show revealed her true lesbian identity and romance with chef Maya. There are steamy kissing scenes between the two in some episodes. “FlashForward” has been bold in capturing gay life and language in the form of a lesbian, Janis Hawk, played superbly by Christine Woods. It also has successfully depicted women in powerful roles and this does not necessarily translate to masculinity or lesbianism. It simply reinforced the fact that women can excel in things and areas they are passionate about.

In May 2010, Christine Woods will be starting work on a new project with NBC. She has joined the cast for an upcoming television series entitled “Perfect Couples” to be aired in the 2010-2011 TV season.
