Christine Woods

Christine Woods

American actress Christine Woods was born on September 3, 1979 in Orange County, California. She studied musical theatre in University of Arizona. Christine Woods has appeared in multiple television series with the most prominent being her role as FBI Agent Janis Hawk in ABC’s “FlashForward.”

Her role as Janis Hawk in “FlashForward” took an interesting turn when the show revealed her true lesbian identity and romance with chef Maya. There are steamy kissing scenes between the two in some episodes. “FlashForward” has been bold in capturing gay life and language in the form of a lesbian, Janis Hawk, played superbly by Christine Woods. It also has successfully depicted women in powerful roles and this does not necessarily translate to masculinity or lesbianism. It simply reinforced the fact that women can excel in things and areas they are passionate about.

In May 2010, Christine Woods will be starting work on a new project with NBC. She has joined the cast for an upcoming television series entitled “Perfect Couples” to be aired in the 2010-2011 TV season.
